Our keynote speaker is veteran actress, director, producer, and activist Ms. Ericka Alexander. Erika is beloved for her iconic acting roles as Maxine Shaw in the television show (LIVING SINGLE), Detective Latoya in the movie (GET OUT), and Cousin Pam in the popular television show (THE COSBY SHOW).


Art & Wellness Mixed Media Exploration Workshop

Making art is a whole-body experience, including how you are feeling during the making process! In this workshop we will focus on using our whole body to create artworks while considering our emotional responses as we draw, paint and collage evolving artworks. AWLA: Paint Your Pet
February 11 and 25 from 6:00-8:00 PM
Join local artist Alexandra Schmeling for a two-hour class that will take you through the basics of watercolors to create a finished watercoloring painting of your pet. All skill levels are welcome - Alexandra will provide participants with a pre-drawn sketch of your pet so you can focus on painting. You will leave with a palette of watercolor paint and a brush or two so you can continue your artistic journey at home!
