Discover Arlington is a growing resource for the local community in Arlington, VA to engage, connect + be inspired by the incredible businesses in the area. What started as a way for Blake to showcase his expertise of the Arlington area for his real estate business, has exploded into a channel for us to connect + inspire while encouraging people to eat, live and explore everything Arlington, VA.
We've built a platform to showcase the diverse local culture and businesses in Arlington and provide home buyers/sellers the resources they need to make the best decisions for their families. It is our mission to build a stronger community and that is at the core in everything that we do. We love collaborating with the community so much we regularly plan fun events like Fitness + Wellness Festivals, Walking Food Tours, Home Buying Seminars, Entrepreneurial Speaker Series, and so much more. Each Discover Arlington event is focused on building a community of inspired and driven people in Arlington, VA.

Leah Davenport
Leah serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Davenport Group while being the co-founder of Discover Arlington.
She graduated from Penn State in 2014 with a dual degree in Public Relations and Supply Chain & Information Systems. She moved to Washington, D.C. and first took the corporate IT Auditor route at EY, but quickly realized IT Auditing was not her jam.
She dove headfirst into the world of event planning, working alongside a wedding planner and planning legal events at George Mason University’s law school with high-ranking federal judges, supreme court justices, and senators.
In 2016, together with her husband and business partner, Blake, Leah co-founded Discover Arlington. This was their way to stand out from the competition and show the world all things awesome in Arlington – from delicious eats to trendy hangouts and everything worth exploring. Discover Arlington exploded into a community of over 22,000 people! Happy hours, home buying workshops, showcasing the coolest restaurants, and top-notch events – you name it!
In 2017, Leah obtained her real estate license. When the pandemic hit in 2020, she went all-in on real estate and she never looked back. That’s when The Davenport Group team was born! When she’s not busy sealing the deal or connecting with new clients, Leah’s the mastermind behind the team’s operations, marketing, and strategy. Plus, she’s passionate about building relationships with past clients and top agents across the nation. So whether you’re buying, selling, or just in need of some serious real estate magic, Leah’s got your back!
In her downtime, Leah loves being a mama to her new baby, Liam and her mini-labradoodle, Nala. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, exploring new wineries and finding the best local coffee shops.

Blake Davenport
Blake is a licensed REALTOR® in Virginia, DC, and Maryland and runs the top team, The Davenport Group, in the RLAH Real Estate Arlington office. Acting as a professional adviser, Blake mentors locals through one of the biggest decisions of our lives - the home buying and selling process.
Blake graduated from Penn State University with an Industrial Engineering degree. After graduating, he wanted to pursue a career in which he was making an impact and helping people on a daily basis. He grew up watching the HGTV channel with his parents and has always had a fascination with homes. Thus, he quickly found out that helping clients with real estate transactions was the career for him.
Blake created Discover Arlington in hopes to help people learn about the great spots in Arlington, Virginia and to educate them on the important specifics within buying and selling real estate. He designed this site to give first time home buyers all of the resources and knowledge necessary to make the best decision when purchasing a home.
Besides helping clients, Blake enjoys the outdoors, traveling to beautiful nature spots like Lake Königssee, photography, playing sports, and trying new recipes with Leah.
